About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Rail Design Engineer to join our team at Actalent. As a key member of our transportation project management team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of rail projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans, scope, and schedules
  • Provide technical guidance on project development, including cost estimates and risk management
  • Direct and manage the production of project deliverables, including signing and sealing of work products
  • Conduct site investigations and prepare reports documenting existing conditions
  • Monitor and maintain quality on all facets of the project deliverable
  • Participate in project status/review meetings and provide input to the project manager on monthly project accounting
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in rail production design
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
