The Healthcare Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a pivotal role in identifying and attracting qualified candidates through various channels, including physician databases, online platforms, job boards, and direct outreach. This position requires strong organizational skills to effectively build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective candidates while striving to meet and exceed recruitment targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative strategies to address recruitment challenges and implement new initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess recruitment needs and align strategies with the organization's objectives.
  • Utilize diverse channels, such as digital media, job boards, and networking events, to source and engage qualified candidates.
  • Maintain a strong professional network within the Hospitalist and Emergency Medicine sectors.
  • Facilitate weekly recruitment meetings with Practice stakeholders to ensure alignment with recruitment goals.
  • Work closely with internal teams to enhance the recruitment process and improve overall efficiency.
  • Conduct comprehensive candidate evaluations, including CV assessments and interviews.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to candidates and make informed decisions regarding their qualifications.
  • Negotiate employment agreements and compensation packages with prospective candidates.
  • Partner with the onboarding team to ensure a seamless transition for newly recruited physicians and advanced practice providers.
  • Participate in national and local conferences to network, stay updated on industry trends, and promote our organization.
  • Conduct candidate facility tours to showcase our offerings and opportunities.
  • Maintain and cultivate a pipeline of eligible candidates for future openings.
  • Conduct interviews via phone or in-person as needed.
  • Assess candidates based on interview feedback and CV evaluations.
  • Engage in conferences, job fairs, and recruitment events to expand outreach.
  • Travel may be required to attend conferences and conduct candidate facility tours.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.

Experience:

  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in healthcare recruitment is essential.
  • Experience in Hospital Medicine and/or Emergency Medicine recruitment is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Locums Tenens is advantageous.
