Senior Construction Claims Analyst

As a Senior Construction Claims Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to manage and resolve intricate, high-stakes Primary and Excess Construction Defect claims. This role involves thorough investigation, evaluation, and resolution of claims, ensuring that potential exposures are accurately reported and managed.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct comprehensive technical claims management.

· Assess applicable AXA coverage and independently draft coverage position letters.

· Implement effective risk transfer strategies.

· Ensure timely reserving and proper handling of high-exposure claims, adhering to corporate policies.

· Perform loss investigations and identify recovery opportunities while meeting established standards.

· Provide technical oversight to Third-Party Administrators.

· Maintain accountability for all claims until resolution is achieved.

· Evaluate exposure, establish reserves, and make necessary adjustments promptly.

· Keep accurate records of all claim-related activities and ensure compliance with documentation standards.

· Communicate effectively with reinsurers and maintain relationships with internal AXA departments.

· Regularly update the Claims Manager with reports and statistical data.

· Stay informed about market trends and collaborate with the Claims Manager for personal development.

· Anticipate and fulfill the needs of internal and external stakeholders.

· Mentor and train junior claims representatives.

· Manage the expense budget effectively.

You will report directly to the Claims Manager - Construction North America.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

· Progress towards insurance or industry-related qualifications is preferred.

· Extensive experience in handling construction defect claims is essential.

· Commitment to the highest standards of professional conduct.
