Advertising and Public Relations Instructor

Job Summary

The University of Tampa's Communication Department invites applications for part-time instructors in Advertising and Public Relations. As a part-time faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching one or two 4-hour courses per semester, creating syllabi and course assignments, and providing meeting time outside of class hours for students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach and develop curriculum for Advertising and Public Relations courses
  • Create and manage online grading systems
  • Provide academic support and guidance to students
  • Develop and implement course assessments and evaluations
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Advertising and Public Relations or a related field
  • At least 18 credit hours in the discipline
  • College teaching experience preferred
