Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at SCA Health. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for managing and leading quality assurance testing activities across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead a team of quality assurance testers, providing guidance and direction to ensure effective quality assurance testing plans and procedures.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance testing strategies and plans to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business, IT, and offshore/nearshore teams, to ensure seamless quality assurance activities.
  • Develop and execute test cases, track and report defects, and provide refined estimates for quality assurance deliverables.
  • Oversee the QA team's hand-on/offs process, supporting and guiding continuous quality delivery.
  • Drive quality assurance testing deliverables in alignment with project schedules, ensuring the highest quality.
  • Validate time entries and time charging for all QA resources, ensuring precise chargeability.
  • Provide performance updates and career development for direct reports, share feedback, course corrections, coaching, mentoring, and resource time tracking.
  • Conduct periodic assessments with direct reports, realigning goals, skills, and work passions focused on career development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or other technology-related fields.
  • 7+ years of expertise in QA testing, experienced in test planning, leading, and implementing QA processes.
  • 3-4 years of managing and supervising experience, both employees and contractors.
  • 5+ years of hosting and coordinating QA activities between business, IT teams, and offshore/nearshore teams.
  • 5+ years of experience in requirements analysis/user stories, writing, executing test cases within Azure DevOps.
  • 4+ years of experience in Microsoft Azure Test Plan and Test Management, and experienced in deploying code via pipelines.
  • 4 years of hands-on test automation experience in Selenium or open-source automation tools and establishing QA test automation for QA projects.
  • 5 years of defect management, defect triaging, defect remediation, and root cause reporting.
  • 3 years of experience in test traceability, ensuring requirements to functional deliveries.
  • Demonstrate experience with Agile, hybrid-agile, and waterfall methodologies.
