Key Responsibilities
  • Greeting and Welcoming Guests: Provide a warm and welcoming experience for all guests, ensuring they feel valued and respected.
  • Product Sales and Support: Assist guests with the purchase of tickets, merchandise, and other products, providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Store Maintenance and Organization: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of retail storefronts, ensuring a positive and inviting atmosphere for guests.
  • Inventory Management: Communicate inventory levels to the leadership team, ensuring that products are always available for guests.
  • Safety and Security: Oversee the safety and cleanliness of all areas, including the Rink, and ensure that guests are aware of safety instructions and protocols.
  • Operational Support: Assist with the operation of the Geoffrey's Express Train, including driving and conductor duties.
  • Customer Service: Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Loss Prevention: Maintain knowledge of Loss Prevention procedures and report any incidents to the leadership team.
  • Sales and Promotions: Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, and discounts, and communicate this information to guests.
  • Cash Handling and POS Operations: Operate a computerized POS system in an efficient and timely manner, maintaining knowledge of Cash Handling Policy and Procedures.
  • Park Command and Emergency Response: Assist with park command duties and respond to emergency situations, providing guidance and support to guests as needed.
  • Lost and Found: Coordinate the American Dream lost and found program, ensuring that lost items are returned to their rightful owners.
  • Training and Development: Participate in training programs, including First Aid, CPR, Emergency Protocols, and bodily fluid clean-up, to ensure that you are equipped to handle any situation that may arise.
Requirements
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Cash Handling Experience: Previous cash handling experience preferred.
  • Guest Service Experience: Previous guest service experience preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of computers and POS systems preferred.
  • Math Skills: Basic math skills, including the ability to handle cash and operate a POS system.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
Physical Requirements
  • Standing and Moving: Stand and move frequently, with the ability to perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Lift and carry up to 10 pounds occasionally, with the ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds infrequently.
  • Reach and Bend: Reach at or below shoulder level frequently, with the ability to reach at or above shoulder level infrequently.
  • Stoop and Squat: Stoop and squat infrequently, with the ability to handle larger items such as boxes or packages.
