Territory Business Developer

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Business Developer to join our team at Professional Plastics. As a Territory Business Developer, you will be responsible for developing and expanding a business and territory plan that includes markets, key and target accounts. You will understand core strengths, weaknesses and the market share in assigned territories, and close sales, increase margins and represent overall product line.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage a business plan focusing on key and target accounts with annual revenue of $20,000+
- Develop new business opportunities
- Make cold calls to potential customers
- Create and close sales
- Maintain and service existing business relationships
- Provide feedback on changes in the market place
- Manage assigned territories to increase sales and revenue
- Develop quotes, contracts and agreements to secure long-term business
- Complete sales reports, itineraries and forecasts
- Attend Manufacturers Representatives educational meetings on product lines and applications
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Proficiency in standard office and database programs/equipment
- Knowledge of ERP systems
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years' experience in a sales role
