Business Development Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team at MRI Software. As a key member of our Small-to-Medium Business team, you will be responsible for generating new business and driving revenue growth through direct sales and marketing efforts.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in enterprise software sales, with a strong ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities. You will be responsible for conducting market analysis, networking, and referrals to generate new leads, as well as driving the entire sales process from prospecting to closing.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Generating new business through research, market analysis, and networking
- Driving the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing
- Identifying and understanding client or prospect critical business needs and aligning them with MRI's solutions and services
- Submitting standard sales metrics, such as forecasting, pipeline, funnel, business plans, and other reports in a timely manner
- Working with the sales team to share ideas and new business development strategies
Requirements for this role include:
- Bachelor's degree with a focus in business, finance, technology, or marketing
- 3-5 years of industry knowledge and enterprise software sales experience
- Proven track record of closing new business over a sustained period while exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to demonstrate software to prospects
- Management of base-level sales negotiations and completion of the corporate contracting process
- Extensive travel within territory
