Job Title: Lead IT Assurance Analyst

Join Centene Corporation as a Lead IT Assurance Analyst and play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our IT systems and processes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the gathering and organization of assessment data and results to support risk reporting and monitoring processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead IT Controls and Processes: Advise, design, and/or validate the status of IT controls and processes and assist in the design of corrective actions to address control deficiencies.
  • Risk Management: Consult with control owner(s) to innovate and implement controls to minimize/mitigate risks, vulnerabilities, and threats to IT, as well as improve overall control design.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Ensure stakeholders incorporate new controls and/or updates to controls into testing and work closely with key stakeholders within IT to understand the overall business environment, processes, and procedures.
  • Compliance and Risk Assessment: Understand and assess levels of risk and compliance (deriving from external and internal threats) across the enterprise and maintain departmental work process for IT controls.
  • Communication and Remediation: Interface with business control personnel and provide technical guidance, communicate, consult, and assist in remediation of control findings and gaps with IT and business stakeholders.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Develop and/or mature metrics (KRI & KPI) to deliver reports and presentations to various levels of management personnel and maintain risk register with risk treatment plans.
  • IT Risk Acceptance: Perform assessments of an IT Risk Acceptance request to identify risks and mitigating controls as well as follow-up on necessary approvals.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage stakeholders, identify, and manage issues and risks, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree and 5 – 7 years of related experience or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope, and skill reflective of the level of this position.
  • Technical Skills: One or more of the following skills are desired: knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, experience with Data Analysis, and Project Management.
  • Soft Skills: Intermediate - seeks to acquire knowledge in area of specialty, ability to identify basic problems and procedural irregularities, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, ability to work independently, demonstrated analytical skills, demonstrated project management skills, demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure, demonstrates excellent judgment and decision-making skills, ability to communicate and make recommendations to upper management, and ability to drive multiple projects to successful completion.
  • License/Certification: Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) preferred and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control preferred.
