Key Responsibilities
As a Lead Assurance Auditor, your role will encompass the following duties:
- Oversee and manage audit assignments for a diverse clientele, ensuring all phases are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Formulate audit strategies, including risk evaluations and comprehensive audit plans.
- Guide and mentor junior audit staff, offering support and direction throughout the engagement process.
- Assess and analyze internal controls, financial statements, and accounting documentation.
- Identify opportunities for enhancement and provide clients with recommendations to improve their financial systems and controls.
- Engage in effective communication with clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns during the audit process.
- Draft and review audit findings, ensuring adherence to relevant standards and regulations.
- Remain informed about industry trends and updates in accounting standards and regulations.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in public accounting.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong project management capabilities, with a focus on meeting deadlines within established budgets.
- Professional demeanor and ability to represent the firm’s brand effectively.
