Position Overview:
Chevron is seeking a qualified Quality Management Machinery Analyst / Subject Matter Expert to contribute to our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough audits in the Refinery Machine Shop and external facilities, documenting findings and communicating results effectively.
  • Identify trends in pump operations where quality discrepancies arise and collaborate with relevant teams to address these issues, supporting initiatives aimed at reducing rework.
  • Monitor and report on monthly metrics related to machine shop activities and hold points, ensuring timely communication with the Quality Management Team Lead and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with procedure writers to enhance and refine operational Procedures and Checklists, aiming to minimize rework occurrences.
  • Partner with Rotating Equipment Reliability Analysts to oversee pump repair hold points at external repair facilities.
  • Assist the Quality Management team in establishing Quality Assurance standards for rotating equipment.
  • Support the identification and tracking of specialized machinery roles for Turnarounds within the Quality Management team.
  • Perform inspections of received materials and fabricated items as necessary to assist Procurement.
  • Actively engage in resolving field quality issues as they arise.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and findings to various stakeholders, including Maintenance teams, Capital Projects, Engineers, and Analysts.
  • Conduct qualification assessments for both internal and external shops.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in machinist roles or as a rotating equipment analyst.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic work environment and adjust to shifting priorities.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Robust analytical and critical thinking skills for interpreting diverse datasets.

Relocation may be considered for this position.

International Considerations:
Expatriate assignments will not be considered.

Compensation and Benefits:
The anticipated salary range for this role is $114,000 - $196,400, with compensation determined based on skills, experience, and qualifications. Chevron offers competitive compensation and benefits, including health care coverage, retirement plans, and various allowances related to specific work situations.
