Position Overview:
Chevron is seeking a skilled Machinery Quality Assurance Analyst to enhance our quality management processes.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Machinery Quality Assurance Analyst, your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Conducting and documenting audits primarily within the Refinery Machine Shop and external facilities, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Identifying trends in pump operations where quality concerns arise and collaborating with relevant teams to address these issues effectively.
  • Tracking and reporting monthly metrics related to machine shop performance and hold points to the Quality Management Team Lead and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with procedure writers to refine and enhance operational procedures and checklists aimed at minimizing rework.
  • Working alongside Rotating Equipment Reliability Analysts to oversee pump repair hold points at external repair facilities.
  • Assisting the Quality Management team in formulating Quality Assurance requirements for rotating equipment.
  • Identifying and monitoring machinery specialty or craft-specific roles during Turnarounds.
  • Performing inspections of received materials and fabricated items as necessary to support procurement activities.
  • Proactively addressing field issues related to quality when necessary.
  • Providing comprehensive reports and findings to various stakeholders, including maintenance teams, project engineers, and analysts.
  • Conducting qualification assessments for both internal and external shops.

Required Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in machining or as a rotating equipment analyst.
  • A High School Diploma and a valid Driver's License.

  • Outstanding analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret complex datasets.

Compensation and Benefits:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $114,000 – $196,400, with compensation determined by skills, experience, and qualifications. Chevron offers a competitive benefits package, including health care coverage, retirement plans, and various allowances.
