About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Program Manager to spearhead key projects and lead collaboration with customers, stakeholders, and engineering teams. As a Technical Program Manager at Walmart, you will be responsible for driving the success of complex, cross-functional projects and programs within the People Tech domain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project planning, scoping, dependency alignment, and scheduling
  • Leads and brokers agreement on end-to-end, high-level system/solution design of medium/high-complexity systems through an understanding of end-to-end systems
  • Coordinate project teams and stakeholders
  • Track project progress and performance
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards
  • Manage project budget and resource allocation
  • Communicate project status updates to relevant stakeholders
  • Proactively identify and resolve project issues and conflicts
  • Guides and influences program participants/stakeholders to focus on decision points, options for end outcomes, and solutions that unblock/de-risk and keep programs on track
  • Develop and implement project management best practices and methodologies
  • Mentors team members
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement
Requirements
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to manage and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve project issues
  • Leads fast decision making among stakeholders and engineering teams
  • Strong technical expertise in distributed systems and mobile applications
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong leadership skills to guide project teams towards successful project completion
