Facilities Operations Manager

Our client, a leading global provider of test and assurance solutions, is seeking a skilled Facilities Manager to support site staff and ensure the facility is well-maintained and operational. Key responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Facilities Director in managing the lease portfolio and coordinating facility functions across the global property portfolio.
- Oversee the selection and implementation of new projects, including large-scale renovations and internal reconfigurations.
- Provide direction and partnership to vendors and third-party providers to carry out maintenance and operations according to established standards.
- Manage contractors for site maintenance, repairs/alterations, janitorial services, HVAC, and regulatory compliance.
- Interface with landlords and their representatives regarding facility issues.
- Work within financial accounts payable and possess strong business acumen.
- Become a trusted partner and build strong relationships with business and shared leaders to enhance the employee experience.
- Plan and participate in all facets of facility new or improvement projects, including identifying requirements, conducting bids, financial budgeting & analysis, and working with vendors and consultants.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant work experience.
- Previous work with various building trades and/or contractors.
- Experience working with diverse stakeholders and outside vendors.
- Basic math aptitude/skills and the ability to do measurements.
- HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, and/or General Construction experience preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to travel to other Spirent offices as needed.
Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate: $40/hr to $50/hr.
- Benefit packages starting on the 31st day of employment, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching.
- Paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
