Chief Operations Officer

In this pivotal leadership position, you will oversee the daily functions of our senior living community, ensuring the utmost quality of service and resident satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary executive for all operational activities, acting as the main liaison for staff, residents, prospective clients, community organizations, regulatory bodies, and the public as necessary.
- Enhance resident retention by collaborating with residents and their families, addressing any concerns that may arise.
- Timely respond to all inquiries, whether in-person, via phone, or through written communication.
- Stay informed about competitor activities and market trends.
- Achieve all targets related to meaningful interactions, leasing, and occupancy rates.
- Ensure financial accountability by managing budgets and cash flow; proactively identify and mitigate potential budget shortfalls.
- Recruit, train, manage, and, if necessary, terminate staff in accordance with corporate policies.
- Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to the community.
- Facilitate staff meetings to promote communication and teamwork.
- Uphold and advocate for resident rights, assisting them in making informed choices while treating them with dignity and respect.
- Engage actively in community social and civic activities, representing the organization in various local, state, and professional forums.
- Oversee additional support and management roles as required.
- A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business management, ideally within the Senior Housing sector.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to listen effectively to residents, guests, and team members.
- Proven management capabilities and a commitment to fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing tasks and priorities.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License.
