This role is essential for executing comprehensive marketing strategies, managing pursuits, and gathering critical marketing data to support the Life Sciences sector's project opportunities, branding, events, and programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies that align with key performance indicators (KPIs) and organizational objectives.
- Craft and customize content, ensuring thorough proofreading and editing of proposals (RFPs) and qualifications (RFQs).
- Provide insightful recommendations for project pursuits to enhance proposal quality.
- Create outstanding deliverables that are distinctive, high-quality, and innovative for marketing and pursuit purposes.
- Design and produce high-caliber presentation materials for internal use and project pursuits.
- Lead strategic initiatives and coach teams during interview preparations.
- Contribute to the creation and strategic direction of marketing materials for business development and recruitment efforts.
- Gather information to develop project descriptions, resumes, and maintain visual assets in the shared drive and CRM.
- Maintain and produce compelling narratives to effectively promote GBA Companies.
- Oversee logistics for trade shows and events, including staff involvement, sponsorships, and coordination of promotional materials.
- Coordinate client entertainment events in collaboration with Business Development staff as necessary.
- Provide updates to the corporate communications team regarding events or projects for press releases, newsletters, and other communications.
- Assist in developing content for the company website, marketing emails, social media, and other promotional materials.
- Prepare and refine submissions for awards, ensuring high-quality standards through meticulous review and proofreading.
- Proactively approach tasks, demonstrating initiative and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Safeguard and enhance the GBA Companies brand.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing or a related field.
- A degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a relevant discipline.
- Proficiency in various software applications, including Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
- Experience with CRM systems, preferably Cosential.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform tasks accurately and promptly, with a positive attitude towards feedback.
- Proven multitasking skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Talent for presenting information clearly and accurately.
