Job Title: Preconstruction Manager

Kiewit Industrial Group is seeking a highly skilled Preconstruction Manager to lead estimates for vertical buildings in the Advanced Technology Facilities (ATF) markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of estimators, participating in win strategies, and preparing conceptual estimates using historical and current market data and metrics.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead estimates and multiple teams
  • Develop and implement win strategies
  • Prepare conceptual estimates using historical and current market data and metrics
  • Present estimates to executive management and clients
  • Analyze drawings and specifications to evaluate risks and opportunities
  • Review and assist with proposals
  • Support the selection of key subcontractors and trade partners
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in construction management, construction engineering, or other engineering disciplines
  • Ability to generate conceptual estimates for the Advance Technology Facilities market
  • Ability to lead estimates and multiple teams
  • Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time
  • Strong attention to detail; strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, and team-building skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products (e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
