About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Engineer to join our team at Network and Data Solutions Integrators (NDSI). As a Data Center Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our data centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Computer Systems Specifications: You will develop computer systems specifications that align with government system architecture standards, ensuring compatibility and coordination with existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities.
  • System Maintenance and Revision: You will revise existing systems and procedures to correct deficiencies and maintain effective data handling, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage.
  • Hardware Installation and Maintenance: You will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of storage, networking, and server hardware, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
  • System Monitoring and Issue Remediation: You will continuously monitor systems to ensure availability to end users and remediate any issues that arise.
  • Security Updates and Implementations: You will apply required security updates and implementations mandated by DoD cybersecurity regulations, ensuring the highest level of security for our data centers.
  • Team Leadership: You will oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience - 5+ years of related experience
  • Location: On Customer Site
  • Citizenship: US Citizenship Required
