Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be instrumental in safeguarding our digital infrastructure. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering comprehensive cyber threat intelligence services by collecting, analyzing, and disseminating critical information from various sources to enhance situational awareness.
  • Generating and distributing insightful reports and alerts to stakeholders based on significant events and incidents affecting our systems.
  • Conducting advanced cybersecurity analytics to identify trends, detect anomalies, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance network security.
  • Implementing and overseeing security protocols for communication systems and networks, ensuring compliance with established security standards.
  • Designing and executing data network security strategies, including operating intrusion detection systems and developing disaster recovery plans.
  • Providing expert-level cybersecurity support during core hours and maintaining readiness for on-call assistance as needed.
  • Supervising the operation of key management systems and other critical information security functions.
  • Contributing to the development of innovative concepts and processes to improve cybersecurity measures.
  • Analyzing issues to determine root causes and providing resolutions.
  • Mentoring junior technicians and specialists, sharing expertise and guidance.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • U.S. Citizenship with an active TS/SCI Security Clearance.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical field such as Information Technology or Computer Science.
  • Significant experience in cybersecurity operations, with a minimum of 6 years in roles involving Host Based Security Systems, firewalls, and related security tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are advantageous:

  • IAT Level III certification.
  • DoD certifications such as CSSP Analyst.
  • A Master's Degree in a technical discipline.
  • TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
