Job Summary:

Acts Retirement-Life Communities is seeking a highly skilled Construction Site Supervisor to oversee the construction of our resort-style continuing care senior living communities. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the oversight of all construction projects, including independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing facilities.
  • Supervise a team of construction professionals, including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers.
  • Maintain a safe work environment, adhering to all relevant building codes and safety regulations.
  • Order materials, schedule deliveries, and obtain quotes for construction projects.
  • Control project schedules, obtain necessary permits, and coordinate inspections.
  • Perform mechanical tasks, such as drywall installation, framing, HVAC work, and carpentry, as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of five years' experience as a construction supervisor or construction manager.
  • Understanding of blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
  • Knowledge of building codes and safety requirements (OSHA).
  • Valid driver's license.
