Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Oversight: Direct and coordinate daily operations on the construction site, ensuring that all tasks are executed according to plans, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Timeline Management: Create and uphold project timelines, manage schedules, and ensure that critical milestones are achieved.
  • Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality assurance protocols to guarantee that the project meets or surpasses industry standards and client expectations.
  • Safety Management: Implement safety measures and regulations to maintain a secure working environment for all personnel on site.
  • Team Management: Supervise and lead subcontractors, tradespeople, and construction staff, providing direction, support, and performance evaluations.
  • Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or disputes that arise on-site, including scheduling conflicts, design modifications, and unexpected challenges.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary liaison between the client, project manager, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain precise and current project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and inspection records.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all work adheres to local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor project costs and ensure that work is conducted within the designated budget.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Project Supervisor or in a comparable role, with an emphasis on multifamily construction projects.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Skills: Extensive knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials. Proficient in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Certifications: OSHA certification and other relevant industry certifications are advantageous.
  • Attributes: Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to inspire and manage a diverse team. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to perform under pressure.
