As a prominent Environmental Specialty & Demolition Contractor in New England with over 35 years of expertise, EnviroVantage stands as a reputable leader for commercial, industrial, government, and residential projects across New England and the Mid-Atlantic regions. We are currently seeking Environmental Safety Supervisors who are willing to travel for assignments throughout the United States.

The Environmental Safety Supervisor will be tasked with the comprehensive oversight and management of personnel and subcontractors engaged in various environmental construction initiatives. Opportunities are available in demolition, restoration, earthwork, and stormwater management. This role may also necessitate active participation on-site to ensure timely and efficient project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage field teams and subcontractors
  • Coordinate on-site operations
  • Ensure projects are executed safely and efficiently
  • Implement project-specific work plans
  • Manage labor and equipment usage to optimize productivity and adhere to budgets
  • Communicate professionally with clients
  • Oversee the delivery and unloading of materials and supplies
  • Complete daily reports on field activities.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience as a Supervisor in Asbestos, Demolition, or Construction
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant field experience in construction and management
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings
  • OSHA 10 and HAZWOPER 40 certifications required; if not current, candidates must be willing to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
  • 40-hour Asbestos Supervisor certification is mandatory.
  • Experience in budget and schedule management is preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to operate and maintain heavy machinery is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with torch cutting and rigging is preferred but not required.
  • A High School Diploma, GED, or vocational training is preferred but not required.

Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

  • Must be capable of performing tasks that involve bending, lifting, walking, carrying, and exerting force equivalent to lifting 50 to 100 pounds.
  • Candidates must pass a physical examination by a medical professional based on the anticipated job requirements.
  • Must successfully pass a background check and be eligible for access to military installations across the United States.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required, in accordance with company policy.
