Key Responsibilities:

Ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and standards by organizing and executing audits; identifying ineffective management and accounting practices; and suggesting enhancements.

Core Duties:
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of auditing standards and the ability to interpret complex regulations.
  • Possess advanced knowledge of audit software and assist colleagues with software functionalities.
  • Skilled in preparing and reviewing thorough and organized work papers, particularly on intricate subjects.
  • Apply auditor judgment in drawing conclusions, proficiently reviewing work papers of Associates and Senior Associates.
  • Capable of completing complex financial statements and detailed footnotes.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines, creating and adhering to a time budget during engagements.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for clients, maintaining open communication for document requests and conducting regular meetings to discuss progress and findings.
  • Safeguard the company’s reputation by maintaining confidentiality of information
  • Enhance team outcomes by assisting colleagues in achieving related job objectives when necessary
Education, Skills, and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Previous auditing experience with Governmental, Non-Profit Organizations, and/or Employee Benefit Plans is preferred
  • CPA License is preferred
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
