Position Overview:

Baldwin Risk Partners is in search of a skilled Program Manager to spearhead the execution of its Workday Financials implementation, which is interconnected with Workday HCM, Payroll, Adaptive Insights, and various data systems. The Program Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams and a third-party implementation partner, overseeing all phases of the program. This role will report directly to the executive leadership and is tasked with achieving critical program objectives through effective management of costs, timelines, and resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the project leader responsible for managing costs and schedules while guiding a diverse team through all stages of systems implementation and business adoption.
  • Serve as the vendor liaison for the third-party implementation partner, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, comprehensive support, and alignment with project timelines.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders in HR, Accounting, and Finance to ensure that execution plans are in sync with the foundational data model between Workday HCM and FIN, maximizing Workday's inherent capabilities.
  • Manage project scope to maintain alignment with the Statement of Work, established requirements, and budget constraints.
  • Employ objective measurement techniques to evaluate and monitor program performance against established plans (both schedule and financial).
  • Identify potential risks and formulate corrective actions as necessary to implement program adjustments.
  • Coordinate with essential stakeholders to ensure that change management and training strategies are effectively established to enhance the benefits of Workday through new business process adoption.
  • Utilize strong communication and leadership skills to foster a shared understanding among team members regarding technical approaches, scope, schedules, risks, and financial goals.
  • Implement cost control measures to manage expenditures within the project's budgetary limits and provide regular updates on project budget performance.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans and action item lists.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and third-party integration partners to oversee the execution of tasks and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Prepare and deliver review presentations to senior leadership.
  • Exhibit ethical and professional conduct in alignment with Baldwin Risk Partners' core values.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of project management experience, particularly in Workday implementations and strategic optimization initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success in leading Workday projects and achieving measurable outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of HR and finance operations and processes.
  • High proficiency in project management principles and process mapping tools.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure project management success.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Attention to detail in project execution, including scheduling, status reporting, and deliverables.
  • Excellent project management skills, capable of managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Ability to navigate the internal dynamics of organizations and utilize effective communication channels to achieve objectives.
  • Experience in communicating effectively with all organizational levels and providing clear project status reports to senior leadership.
  • Adaptability to changing business needs and circumstances, maintaining a positive attitude and modifying plans as necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience in mentoring team members in project management and change management principles.
  • Technical knowledge of Workday functionality is highly desirable.
  • Project Management Professional Certification is a plus.
