The Program Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams and a third-party implementation partner, overseeing all stages of the program. This role holds direct accountability to executive leadership and is focused on achieving critical program objectives through effective management of costs, timelines, and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the project lead, responsible for budget and schedule management while guiding a diverse team through all phases of systems implementation and business integration.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the third-party implementation partner to ensure adherence to contractual obligations, comprehensive support, and alignment with project timelines and payment milestones.
  • Collaborate with essential stakeholders in HR, Accounting, and Finance to ensure that execution plans are aligned with the foundational data model between Workday HCM and Financials, optimizing Workday's inherent capabilities.
  • Manage project scope to maintain alignment with the Statement of Work, established requirements, and budget constraints.
  • Employ objective measurement techniques to evaluate and monitor program performance against established plans (both schedule and financial).
  • Identify potential risks and develop corrective action plans as necessary to facilitate program adjustments.
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders to ensure that change management and training initiatives are in place to maximize the benefits of Workday through new business process adoption.
  • Utilize strong communication and leadership skills to foster a shared understanding among team members regarding technical approaches, scope, schedules, risks, and financial goals.
  • Implement cost control measures to manage expenditures within project budget limits and regularly report on project budget performance through the Estimate to Complete (ETC) process.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans and action item lists.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and third-party integration partners to oversee the execution of tasks and the resolution of issues as they arise.
  • Prepare and deliver review presentations to senior leadership.
  • Exhibit ethical and professional conduct in alignment with Baldwin Risk Partners' core values.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of project management experience, particularly in Workday implementations and strategic optimization initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success in leading Workday projects and achieving measurable outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of HR and finance operations and processes.
  • High proficiency in project management principles and process mapping tools.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including business operations, accounting, finance, and technology.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Attention to detail in project execution, including scheduling, status reporting, and deliverables.
  • Proven project management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Ability to navigate organizational dynamics and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Adaptability to changing business needs and the ability to modify plans based on new information or shifting priorities.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple tasks and adjusting quickly to project changes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in mentoring and guiding team members in project management and change management principles.
  • Technical knowledge of Workday functionality is highly desirable.
  • Project Management Professional Certification is a plus.
