Job Summary

Erwin Electric is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical work and management experience in commercial construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution: Manage all project phases, ensuring effective planning and execution.
  • Field Operations Management: Oversee field operations, including scheduling, procurement, and budget control.
  • Contract Management: Handle contract changes, track change orders, and secure approvals before work begins.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and submit accurate monthly draw requests.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Attend job site meetings and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.
  • Project Coordination: Manage multiple projects simultaneously and conduct regular site visits to meet quality, safety, and manpower goals.
  • Issue Resolution: Address issues related to Change Orders, RFIs, inspections, and punch list items.
  • Document Management: Create and manage Submittals, RFIs, As-built Drawings, and Close-Out documents.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams, and ensure safety compliance in coordination with the Safety Advisor.
Requirements
  • Strong Time-Management and Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills to lead project teams and stakeholders.
  • Education and Experience: BS or Construction Management Degree preferred, 5+ years of Project Management experience, and electrical experience (journeyman or master license preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints, prepare construction schedules, and use project management tools.
