Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Transportation Project Manager to join our team at H&H. As a key member of our Transportation Team, you will be responsible for leading pursuits and managing projects to meet financial targets.

This role requires strong communication and accuracy skills, as well as the ability to work closely with our Market Leaders to obtain the resources needed to execute projects successfully for our clients. A strong background in Florida DOT Districts and Florida's Turnpike is preferred.

We have a proven track record of managing the entire life cycle of a project, from the study and planning phase through to design and construction.

Responsibilities

  • Market services to current and prospective clients to assist in the creation of letters of response and technical proposals/presentations
  • Oversee engineering designs including geometric alignments, profiles, cross-sections, construction, and maintenance of traffic details
  • Perform functions such as reviewing and writing reports, workload projections, and other activities that ensure the team knows where to focus their efforts
  • Execute production of project requirements to ensure contractual obligations are met
  • Coordinate plans, calculations, and specifications amongst multi-discipline engineering teams
  • Quality review project deliverables to ensure client satisfaction and to avoid errors and omissions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil engineering from an accredited four-year college
  • Florida Professional Engineering Registration
  • 10 years of experience
  • MicroStation/GEOPAK/Open Roads experience (preferred)
  • Experience with 3D Corridor Modeling is a plus
  • Knowledge of FDOT plans preparation criteria and design standards
  • Knowledge of other transportation disciplines and their relationship to roadway design
  • Strong verbal communication and technical writing skills
  • Ability to train and mentor entry-level staff
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
