This role is accountable to executive leadership and focuses on achieving critical program objectives through effective management of costs, timelines, and resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the project leader responsible for budget and scheduling while guiding a diverse team through all aspects of systems implementation, ensuring business adoption and lifecycle support.
  • Manage vendor relationships with third-party implementation partners to ensure compliance with contracts, support across the organization, adherence to plans, and validation of contract and payment milestones.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders in HR, Accounting, and Finance to ensure execution plans align with the foundational data model between Workday HCM and Financials, optimizing Workday's native capabilities.
  • Oversee project scope to maintain alignment with the Statement of Work, established requirements, and budget constraints.
  • Employ objective measurement methodologies to monitor and evaluate program performance against established plans (both schedule and financial).
  • Identify potential risks and develop corrective actions as necessary to implement program changes.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure that change management and training plans are established to maximize the benefits of Workday through new business process adoption.
  • Utilize strong communication and leadership skills to foster a common understanding among team members regarding technical approaches, scope, schedules, risks, and financial objectives.
  • Implement cost control techniques to manage expenditures within project budget limitations and regularly report on project budget performance through the Estimate to Complete (ETC) process.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project plans and action item lists.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and third-party integration partners to oversee cost and schedule execution of tasks and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Prepare and deliver review briefings to senior leadership.
  • Exhibit ethical and professional behavior in alignment with Baldwin Risk Partners' core values.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of project management experience, particularly in Workday implementations and strategic initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success in leading Workday projects and delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of HR and finance operations and processes.
  • High proficiency in project management principles and process flow mapping tools.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including business operations, accounting, finance, and technology.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to influence and motivate others.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail in project execution, including scheduling, status reporting, and deliverables.
  • Strong project management skills, capable of managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Ability to navigate the internal dynamics of organizations and define effective communication channels to achieve goals.
  • Experience communicating effectively with individuals at all organizational levels and providing clear project status reports to senior leadership.
  • Adaptability to changing business needs and circumstances, maintaining a positive attitude and modifying plans based on new information or shifting priorities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously and pivoting quickly as project requirements evolve.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in mentoring and collaborating with team members on project management and change management principles.
  • Technical knowledge of Workday functionality is highly preferred.
  • Project Management Professional Certification is a plus.

Strong preference for candidates located in the Tampa, FL area. Remote or flexible work arrangements may be considered with travel requirements to support on-site project needs.
