Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Maintain Pricing Strategies: Establish and communicate product cost, pricing, and tooling details to internal and external customers, ensuring alignment with company guidelines and processes.
  • Drive Sales Growth and Profitability: Balance organizational sales growth and profit goals to produce quoted prices that meet customer needs and company objectives.
  • Analyze Pricing Data: Extract, analyze, and report cost, pricing, and margin data for specific products and customer categories, as assigned by your manager.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with Sales, Customer Support, Product Management, and manufacturing personnel to deliver data-driven recommendations and quotes to customers.
  • Maintain Data Structures and Processes: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of CBD data structures, component costing, product quotes, and process flows.
  • Communicate with Customers and Stakeholders: Act as a liaison between customers, operations, sales, marketing, customer support, and finance, providing timely and effective communication.
  • Monitor Performance Metrics: Track win and loss performance for quotations, cycle time metrics, and support periodic price analysis.
  • Provide Ad Hoc Reports and Analysis: Furnish reports and analysis to support pricing recommendations, history, and other business needs.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement: Contribute to cross-functional teams and organizational initiatives to drive continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Coordinate Requotes and Price Adjustments: Coordinate and implement customer requote and price adjustments for production and service parts, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Manage Sales Forecast and Launch Cadence: Responsible for maintaining an accurate sales forecast and launch cadence summary.
  • Integrate New Programs: Integrate new programs into the sales model, ensuring seamless adoption and execution.
  • Interface with Production Planning: Collaborate with production planning to ensure effective execution of business operations.
  • Other Tasks: Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or Economics, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Experience: 1-3+ years of experience analyzing data in pricing, sales, finance, and/or marketing functions.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Manufacturing Industry Experience: Experience in a manufacturing industry preferred.
  • ERP Systems and Data Management: Knowledge of manufacturing ERP systems and data management, with Acumatica experience preferred but not required.
  • Analytical and Quantitative Skills: Skilled in analytical and quantitative problem-solving, with systems savvy.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced skill in Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Product Knowledge: Ability to interpret product prints and requirements.
  • Project Management: Skill in managing multiple tasks/projects, with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment in a self-directed manner.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and produce consistent measurable results.
