POSITION SUMMARY

The Buyer Account Manager plays a crucial role within our Large Buyer Account Management Team, focusing on driving growth in Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV) by engaging with a select group of substantial and promising B2B liquidation clients. This role entails providing comprehensive buyer support, leveraging expertise in B2B sales and operations, conducting outreach to qualify and onboard significant buyers, and enhancing their spending levels. The Buyer Account Manager will collaborate effectively across various departments, including seller account management, product development, sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless operational support. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Buyer Growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Acquire an in-depth understanding of B-Stock's business model, platform, solutions, and value proposition.
  • Conduct outreach through various communication channels to re-engage accounts with B-Stock.
  • Actively listen to client feedback and provide detailed guidance to enhance buyer support.
  • Establish and nurture trusting relationships with a portfolio of large and prospective buyers.
  • Drive platform adoption and increase transaction volume for the assigned buyer segment.
  • Ensure successful transactions by delivering exceptional and consistent operational support to buyers, addressing issues related to payments, shipping, or other services as necessary.
  • Analyze and report on large buyer acquisition and activity, maintaining accurate records in Salesforce.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and challenges faced by targeted prospects.
  • Surpass operational metrics, including total buyer spending, new and activated large buyers, transaction growth, and churn rates.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% as required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating coachability.
  • Outgoing personality with a strong desire to build new relationships and engage with clients.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Enterprise B2B Liquidation Sales or Account Management.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, entrepreneurship, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with the marketplace business model.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and respond promptly.
  • Proficient in MS Office or G-Suite, along with other CRM platforms.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Background in Liquidation Sales or Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
  • Knowledge of B2B e-commerce, ERP systems, Logistics Software Solutions, or SaaS platforms.
  • Experience in a start-up or fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail in managing large transactions.
