Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Media Planner/Buyer to join our team at Allen & Gerritsen, Inc. As a Media Planner/Buyer, you will be responsible for planning, buying, and managing media campaigns for our diverse range of clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new media opportunities and evaluate vendor proposals
    • Develop and implement media plans that meet client objectives and budget requirements
    • Assist with budget planning and forecasting
    • Conduct channel and audience research to optimize media mix and targeting
    • Develop and maintain client presentations and reports
  • Buying
    • Create and manage insertion orders and vendor contracts
    • Assist with negotiations and vendor management
    • Respond to vendor inquiries and client requests
  • Trafficking
    • Translate media plans into trafficking documents and ensure campaign launch
    • Work with project management and analytics teams to develop and maintain campaign trafficking sheets
    • Manage campaign setup and execution in Google Campaign Manager
    • Assist with campaign optimization and measurement
  • Campaign Management
    • Monitor and report on campaign performance and budget pacing
    • Conduct billing operations duties, including actualization and reconciliation
    • Develop and maintain campaign optimization strategies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communication, Media, or equivalent relevant experience
  • 1+ year of media planning and buying experience in an agency or brand setting
  • Hands-on digital media trafficking experience
  • Experience building campaigns in Facebook Ads Manager
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Self-starter and independent thinker
  • Strong math skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience in Google Campaign Manager and Google Analytics tagging
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google product suite
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
