Senior Buyer Relationship Manager

POSITION SUMMARY
The Buyer Account Manager plays a pivotal role within our Large Buyer Account Management Team, focusing on driving Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV) growth by engaging with a select group of substantial and promising B2B liquidation purchasers. This role entails providing exceptional buyer support through expertise in B2B sales and operations, conducting outreach to potential buyers, qualifying and onboarding new accounts, and enhancing buyer expenditure.
This individual will collaborate cross-departmentally with seller account management, product development, sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure comprehensive operational support. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Buyer Growth, this position is crucial for fostering strong buyer relationships.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Acquire an in-depth understanding of B-Stock's business model, platform, and value propositions.
- Conduct outreach via various communication channels to reintroduce accounts to B-Stock.
- Actively engage with client feedback to provide tailored buyer support.
- Establish and nurture trusting relationships with a targeted group of large and prospective buyers.
- Boost platform usage and transaction volume within the assigned buyer segment.
- Facilitate successful transactions by delivering consistent operational support, addressing issues related to payments, shipping, and other services as necessary.
- Perform reporting and analysis on large buyer acquisition and activity, maintaining accurate records in Salesforce.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor actions, and challenges within targeted prospects.
- Surpass operational metrics including total buyer spend, new and activated large buyers, and transaction growth.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% as required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Ability to be coached and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Outgoing personality with a strong desire to build new relationships and initiate conversations.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Enterprise B2B Liquidation Sales or Account Management.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, entrepreneurship, or a related field.
- Familiarity with the marketplace business model.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven capability to meet tight deadlines and respond promptly.
- Proficient in MS Office or G-Suite, along with other CRM platforms.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Background in Liquidation Sales or Logistics and Supply Chain.
- Knowledge of B2B e-commerce, ERP systems, Logistic Software Solutions, or SaaS platforms.
- Experience in a start-up-like environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on large transactions.
