Automation Sales Specialist

Havtech LLC is seeking an experienced Automation Sales Specialist to join their team in the Middle Atlantic region. This role will focus on selling and executing projects involving HVAC equipment, building automation systems, and mechanical services.
Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related field and at least 5 years of experience in BAS sales, engineering, or marketing. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this position, as well as the ability to travel within a defined region at least 20% of the time.
Responsibilities:- Prospect and develop relationships with new clients to identify and sell HVAC and automation solutions that meet their environmental, operational, financial, and people goals.
- Develop and implement specific action plans to improve project closure rates and produce profitable business.
- Deliver presentations for prospective clients and lead coordinated sales efforts involving multiple Havtech sales groups.
- Maintain a working knowledge of current local utility incentive programs and leverage rebates to improve project closure rates and margins.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in BAS sales, engineering, or marketing.
- CEM, LEED AP, PE accreditations or certificates preferred.
- Excellent oral/written communication skills.
- Ability to travel within a defined region at least 20% of the time.
Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
