Position Overview
The Vice President of Anesthesia Operations (VP Anesthesia Ops) for HCA Anesthesia Services is tasked with developing and executing strategic growth initiatives while managing operations for the Anesthesia Service line within the American Group, encompassing multiple divisions.

The VP will oversee divisional and daily management of employed providers and serve as a resource for vendor practice management and contractual requirements.

This leadership role will focus on driving an ambitious growth agenda while ensuring the implementation of strategic and operational initiatives that uphold best practice operations management across HCA Anesthesia Services.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide executive-level strategic leadership to management and clinical teams within HCA Anesthesia Services.
- Act as the primary liaison between HCA Anesthesia Services and HCA Corporate, Group, and Division leadership.
- Oversee financial and operational management for employed anesthesia practices.
- Collaborate with the Practice Resource Team for vendor oversight and contract management, including utilization and efficiency reviews.
- Manage Division VPs/AVPs to support the development and execution of a 'best in class' clinical strategy that ensures superior care and effective integration into surgical services at HCA hospitals.
- Develop and maintain HCA-AS operations within a matrixed environment, ensuring efficient interfaces with support functions such as legal, HR, and Finance.

Qualifications
- MD/DO or CRNA preferred. A Master's in Business or Healthcare Administration is also preferred.
- A minimum of seven years' experience in Anesthesiology operations and practice management is required.
- Preferred experience includes anesthesia business development, contracting, and vendor negotiation.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare systems management for clinical operations is essential.
