Position Overview:

Amerit Fleet Solutions, a prominent player in the fleet maintenance sector across the United States, is seeking to onboard a proficient Fleet Maintenance Specialist. This role is crucial for the efficient repair and upkeep of light to medium-duty fleet vehicles, ensuring optimal safety and functionality.

Compensation: Competitive Hourly Wage - Paid weekly, every Friday

Salary range: $26 - $35 based on experience

Responsibilities of the Fleet Maintenance Specialist:

  • Maintain and document vehicle records both manually and digitally.
  • Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance on light and medium-duty vehicles.
  • Perform safety evaluations of equipment and prepare necessary safety documentation.
  • Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Inspect and service the undercarriage of vehicles.
  • Access all areas of the vehicle to carry out essential maintenance tasks.
  • Transport parts to and from the work site and install or remove these components on vehicles.
  • Engage with clients as needed through various communication channels.
  • Execute additional tasks as required.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in vehicle maintenance or possession of an auto or diesel technology diploma from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Driver's License is required.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Excel, Word, Fleet Management Systems, and Email.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective documentation and interaction with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle to assess functionality.
  • Must provide personal hand tools and toolbox.
