Fleet Operations Support Specialist

Location: Remote

Duration: 6 Months

Overview:
The Mission Readiness team at ICONMA is seeking a Fleet Operations Support Specialist to assist with the daily management of our vehicle fleet.

In this role, you will be tasked with maintaining the vehicles, which includes responsibilities such as cleaning, refueling, and ensuring that the operational site is orderly and ready for activities.

As part of the BaseOps team, you will ensure that all vehicles comply with regulatory standards as per the established guidelines. You will also collaborate with our parts team to organize and transport spare parts inventory. Furthermore, you will provide assistance to our driving team with their operational testing requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

Primary Duties:
- Support company objectives and enhance drive operations across various locations.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of vehicles, equipment, and workspaces.
- Provide logistical assistance for the movement and storage of vehicles and equipment.
- Assist with documentation and paperwork related to vehicle readiness.
- Conduct routine fueling of test vehicles and associated equipment.

- Execute mission preparation tasks, which include launching software across multiple devices per vehicle, verifying software and hardware configurations, capturing necessary data, and escalating issues as they arise.

- Ensure the availability of spare parts and manage the related inventory.

Secondary Duties:
- Assist with direct vehicle ingestion and software deployment.
- Provide hands-on technical support to BaseOps technicians (fluid changes, part replacements, wiring checks, etc.).
- General testing support including documentation, pre-mission assistance, obstacle courses, traffic control, and support vehicle operation.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve issues efficiently and effectively under pressure.
  • Proven capability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical trade school certificate or associate degree in automotive repair.
- Proficiency in Jira/Confluence.
- Familiarity with MS Office/Google Suites.
- Experience in a fast-paced work environment.
