Overview

The Construction Field Manager is tasked with collaborating closely with teams to Enhance Safety and Provide Outstanding Experiences by strategizing, organizing, and assessing site conditions for various projects while supervising the training of personnel. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in communication with the Operations Superintendent regarding the timeline and scope of ongoing and upcoming projects.
  • Optimize and profitable scheduling of equipment and workforce.
  • Ensure precise completion of deliverables according to the defined scope of work.
  • Facilitate timely acquisition, repair, and collection of necessary equipment.
  • Operate from current or proposed project sites when not at office or meeting venues.
  • Effectively assess new work orders to maximize resource utilization and profitability.
  • Conduct field onboarding for new team members in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Instill company Core Values during the onboarding of new team members.
  • Verify that existing team members adhere to Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Utilize company credit cards for authorized expenses and ensure accurate reporting of these expenditures.
  • Maintain a professional atmosphere with both employees and clients.
  • Perform additional related duties as required.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Associate Degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Preferred 5+ years of administrative and field experience within the construction sector.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License is mandatory.
  • Ability to interpret and understand construction drawings is necessary.
  • Proven team-building capabilities are required.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results while managing multiple projects concurrently, balancing resources, timelines, and quality of outcomes is essential.
  • Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Capability to work effectively outdoors under various weather conditions.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

This position involves a work environment with significant risks, including exposure to potentially hazardous situations or unusual environmental stressors that necessitate a range of safety precautions. Physical demands include lifting, carrying, or pushing heavy objects exceeding 50 pounds. The role requires the use of personal protective equipment such as hard hats, safety glasses, goggles, safety shoes, hearing protection, safety vests, and gloves. Employees may encounter extreme temperatures, wildlife, electrical hazards, confined spaces, heights, noise, dust, irritants, and moving mechanical parts.

Position Type and Work Schedule

This is a full-time role. Standard working days and hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Work hours may vary based on weather conditions, and extended hours may be necessary depending on business needs.

Travel Requirements

Some travel may be necessary based on contract obligations and seasonal workload.

Compensation

Salary is set at $72,000.
