Job Overview:

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is excited to announce a career opportunity for a Field Engineer based in Chicago.

We are looking for candidates with over a year of proven experience in construction management to support Superintendents and Project Managers in the successful execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to field personnel.
  • Conduct estimating and quantity take-offs.
  • Manage on-site inventory of materials and equipment.
  • Track and update project schedules.
  • Ensure job site safety and compliance.
  • Oversee assigned subcontracts.
  • Coordinate subcontractor schedules in relation to material deliveries and workforce availability.
  • Maintain quality control standards.
  • Complete additional tasks as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in a construction-related discipline is preferred.
  • Ability to take responsibility and communicate effectively within a team setting.
  • Willingness and capability to travel as required.
Eligibility Requirements:
  • Verification of employment eligibility to work in the U.S. is required.
  • Must possess authorization to work in the U.S.
Compensation Package:

The hourly base pay rate is competitive and may vary based on factors such as the location of the position and the candidate's qualifications. Additional compensation may be available, including commission and/or incentive programs.
