Crystal Cabinets is seeking a skilled Assembly Specialist to join our team. As an Assembly Specialist, you will be responsible for assembling cabinets with special parts or hardware, modifying construction methods as needed.
**Key Responsibilities**
• Review construction orders and prioritize work to ensure timely completion
• Communicate with drafters to clarify jobs and programming
• Perform touch-ups and repairs to ensure high-quality products
• Set up and operate various machines, including chop saws, edge banders, routers, dowelers, and pocket screws
• Maintain knowledge of other departments within the company to complete jobs efficiently
• Gather and organize parts, including doors, drawer parts, and hardware, to complete weekly workloads
• Maintain a working knowledge of various wood species and differentiate between them
• Make fundamental mathematical calculations and read measurement devices, such as tape measures
• Fill in other areas as needed to support the team
**Requirements**
• Strong understanding of cabinet assembly and fabrication processes
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials
