Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Sales Manager to drive business growth and development in the Western region of the United States. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating leads, advancing the sales process, and closing new business opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in outside industrial sales or account management, with a strong understanding of the architectural building materials and construction industry.

Responsibilities
  • Drive profitable sales growth through new business development efforts while establishing constructive relationships with customers and internal partners.
  • Pursue and generate new sales opportunities through data mining, cold-calling, lead follow-up, and networking with regional contractors, architects, and distributors.
  • Collaborate with our RapidAir Industrial Market Manager to identify and develop relationships with regional architects, specifiers, and general contractors.
  • Consultatively determine and recommend products for customer application requirements, serving as a strategic product specialist and trusted advisor.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of outside industrial sales or account management experience, preferably in the architectural building materials and construction industry.
  • Proven success in qualifying opportunities and establishing relationships with customer decision-makers and influencers.
  • Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
  • B.S. in Sales, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% overnight for customer meetings, sales events, conferences, and tradeshows.
