Patient Registration Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Patient Registration Coordinator to accurately identify and pre-register patients in our hospital information system with complete demographic and insurance information, ensuring accurate records and timely billing for patients utilizing the services of Rutland Regional Medical Center and its provider-based clinics.
Responsibilities- Accurately collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Process registration paperwork and update patient information in the hospital information system
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of customer service experience
- Experience using computerized information systems in a business setting
- Prior insurance-related experience is desirable
- Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) certification is preferred
This is an onsite position that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information discreetly.
Salary RangeThe salary range for this position is $16.60 - $24.65 per hour, based on your qualifications and experience.
