We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Field Sales Representative to contribute to our Higher Education Southwest Sales Team. This role is pivotal in expanding our market presence and fostering relationships within the educational sector.
Location:
This position is remote, requiring residence in the Southwest region with a readiness to travel across Arizona, Nevada, Wyoming, or Colorado. Candidates must be located near a major airport to facilitate travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and expand an assigned sales territory, consistently closing deals to meet sales targets.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders in the education sector.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of client needs to tailor solutions effectively.
- Deliver engaging presentations, both digitally and in-person, demonstrating how our products can address educational challenges and enhance learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with sales support teams to ensure customer satisfaction and needs are met.
- Utilize CRM systems and other tools to maintain accurate data for territory management and account oversight.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
- 2-3+ years of experience in consultative sales, business development, or account management within the education technology, language learning, or publishing sectors.
- Strong technological proficiency with experience in delivering presentations to diverse audiences.
- Exceptional organizational and strategic planning abilities.
- Proven skills in relationship building, prospecting, and negotiation.
- Experience with CRM tools for managing sales activities and accounts.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% based on business needs.
Preferred Experience:
- Background in Higher Education.
- Familiarity with educational products and services.
- Proficiency in additional languages such as Spanish, German, French, or Italian.
- Advanced academic qualifications.
