Manufacturing Assembly Technician

*Job Description
Engage in a variety of assembly and construction tasks to fabricate all types of water pumping stations, enclosures, and component sub-assemblies or equipment while adhering to precise tolerances and stringent inspection standards. Execute fabrication processes including cutting, grinding, sanding, and bonding of FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastics) components. Conduct sandblasting and paint preparation for diverse metallic and non-metallic components. Perform welding of HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) plastic using hand techniques and a Hydraulic Fusion machine to meet specified requirements.

Operate a 3-axis CNC machine, including basic setup, initiating and halting operations, and removing parts post-processing, along with cleaning and deburring cut parts.

Process components utilizing band saws, table saws, or drill presses. Modify assemblies or components using various hand tools. Employ a range of precision measuring instruments and gauging devices. This role necessitates advanced skills in assembly techniques, along with experience and understanding of design and fundamental mechanical principles. Cut, shape, and connect wiring according to specifications, optimizing available space for superior workmanship and outcomes. Interpret complex assembly drawings and specifications, ensuring completion of all job-related documentation and measurements. Contribute insights on product and process enhancements, as well as amendments to drawings, specifications, or bills of materials.

Possess experience or the capability to be trained in Forklift and Crane operations to fulfill daily responsibilities.
