We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team on a travel assignment in Houston, Texas.
About the JobThis is a 13-week travel assignment with a reputable hospital in the Houston area. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including respiratory failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and pneumonia.
- Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
- Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans for patients.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Current State Nursing License
- Minimum 1-year acute care experience in a hospital setting
- A degree from an accredited school of nursing
