POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a motivated individual for our Newport Beach office. The ideal candidate will possess a background in real estate and be eager to develop the skills necessary to transition into a sales associate role within our brokerage division. This position includes a compensation structure designed to facilitate the shift to a full commission-based role. Working collaboratively with senior brokers, the associate will engage in planning, targeting, negotiating, and managing client accounts while conducting market research and maintaining databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with senior brokers on all facets of retail leasing.
  • Observe and learn from senior brokers during transaction negotiations, evaluations, and documentation processes.
  • Enhance transaction coordination skills by overseeing deals from initiation to completion.
  • Conduct thorough market research and maintain up-to-date market knowledge.
  • Contribute to the creation of presentations, proposals, and special projects.
  • Prepare essential transaction documents, including listing agreements and letters of intent.
  • Identify potential clients and generate leads through proactive outreach.
  • Assist in managing the sales pipeline using Salesforce (APTO) software.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably with a focus in Business, Finance, or Real Estate.
  • 1-2 years of experience in the real estate field.
  • Ability to adapt, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks effectively within established time frames.
  • Exhibit high integrity and a robust work ethic.
  • Must hold an active California real estate license.

  • Achieve familiarity with CoStar, GIS, and Google Earth software.
