Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute Duplex ultrasound and peripheral arterial/venous assessments as directed by medical professionals.
  • Conduct ambulatory monitoring evaluations and non-invasive vascular interventions utilizing advanced ultrasound technology.
  • Review patient medical histories and compile comprehensive reports for physician analysis.
  • Ensure the functionality of equipment through regular maintenance, adjustments, and repairs, while managing supply inventories.
  • Engage in quality enhancement initiatives and adhere to regulatory compliance standards.
  • Provide educational support to students and healthcare staff as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist with a solid understanding of vascular methodologies and practices.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience, particularly in Duplex ultrasound and vascular interventions.
  • Proficient in Doppler techniques, color flow Doppler, ABI assessments, segmental pressure measurements, and transcutaneous oxygen evaluations.
  • Capability to assist in thermal and chemical vein ablation techniques.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to walk, stand, and operate medical equipment within a clinical environment.
  • Occasional lifting of over 100 lbs. while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Manual dexterity required for the operation of computer systems and medical apparatus.
