We are seeking a highly skilled Vascular Sonographer to join our team at USA Clinics Group. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing vascular ultrasound examinations and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Examination and Reporting: Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound examinations to create accurate Venous Flow Maps, and provide detailed reports to support treatment plans.
- Patient Care and Communication: Collaborate with physicians to explain treatment plans to patients, and ensure they receive excellent service and care.
- Procedure Room Management: Set up and clean procedure rooms, exam rooms, and ultrasound rooms to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
- Ultrasound Examinations: Perform additional ultrasound examinations as required by treatment plans to ensure effective treatment and patient safety.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Work with office staff, administrative staff, and physicians to review ultrasound schedules and ensure availability of ultrasound technicians to provide timely patient care.
- Quality and Education: Maintain high-quality work and skills through continued education and interaction with other ultrasound technologists.
- Equipment Maintenance: Manage equipment and supply inventory to ensure continued and effective operations.
- Certification: Certificate of Completion from an accredited Ultrasound program.
- Registration: Registered Vascular Technologist, Registered Vascular Specialist, or Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RVT / RVS / RpHS).
- Cultural Competence: Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and excellent patient care skills.
- Work Environment: Ability to work well in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Experience: Fibroid experience required.
- Teamwork: Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and work as part of a team.
