Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute Duplex ultrasound and peripheral arterial/venous assessments as directed by medical professionals.
  • Perform ambulatory monitoring and non-invasive vascular interventions utilizing advanced ultrasound technology.
  • Review and analyze patient medical histories, compiling comprehensive reports for physician evaluation.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance, conduct necessary adjustments and repairs, and ensure the availability of essential supplies.
  • Engage in quality enhancement initiatives and adhere to regulatory compliance standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to students and healthcare staff as required.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist with a solid understanding of vascular principles and methodologies.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience with proficiency in Duplex ultrasound and vascular assessments.
  • Familiarity with Doppler techniques, color flow Doppler, ABI, segmental pressure measurements, and transcutaneous oxygen assessments.
  • Capability to assist in thermal and chemical vein ablation procedures.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to walk, stand, and operate medical equipment within a clinical environment.
  • Occasional lifting of over 100 lbs. while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Manual dexterity necessary for the operation of computer systems and medical apparatus.
