As a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist, you will conduct vascular ultrasound assessments of patients' lower limbs and other necessary examinations, ensuring a balance between patient needs and the efficient workflow of the clinic. Your role will also involve providing an exceptional service experience for each patient.

This role requires working four days a week in our clinic, with additional hours available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct ultrasound examinations to generate a Venous Flow Map, which aids in recommending safe and effective treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with the Physician to explain the treatment plan to patients, ensuring it addresses their specific needs.
  • Prepare and maintain procedure rooms, examination areas, and ultrasound facilities before and after each patient.
  • Perform any additional ultrasound assessments as required by the Physician's treatment plan to ensure patient safety and treatment efficacy.
  • Adhere to the designated timeframes for each ultrasound examination to maintain an efficient patient flow throughout the day.
  • Work alongside office and administrative staff, as well as Physicians, to review the ultrasound schedule, ensuring the availability of technicians for timely patient care.
  • Continuously develop and enhance your skills to meet the company's standards of care through ongoing education and collaboration with fellow Ultrasound Technologists.
  • Manage equipment and supply inventory to ensure seamless operations.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Completion certificate from an accredited Ultrasound program, mandatory
  • Registered Vascular Technologist, Registered Vascular Specialist, or Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RVT / RVS / RpHS), mandatory
  • Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and outstanding patient care abilities.
  • Capability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with fibroids mandatory
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and collaborate as part of a team.
