Vascular Ultrasound Technologist

As a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist, you will conduct vascular ultrasound assessments of patients' lower limbs and other necessary examinations while ensuring a balance between patient needs and the smooth operation of the clinic. Your role will also involve providing an exceptional service experience for every patient.

This role requires working four days a week in our clinic, with additional hours available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct ultrasound evaluations to generate a Venous Flow Map, aiding in the formulation of a safe and effective treatment strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Physician to clarify the treatment plan to the patient, ensuring it meets their specific requirements.
  • Prepare and tidy the procedure, examination, and ultrasound rooms before and after each patient visit.
  • Perform any additional ultrasound assessments as dictated by the Physician's treatment plan to guarantee patient safety and treatment efficacy.
  • Adhere to the designated timeframes for each ultrasound examination to maintain an efficient patient flow throughout the day.
  • Work alongside office and administrative staff, as well as Physicians, to review the ultrasound schedule, ensuring the availability of technicians for timely and safe patient care.
  • Enhance and uphold the quality of work and skills in alignment with the company's care standards through ongoing education and collaboration with fellow Ultrasound Technologists.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance and manage supply inventory to ensure effective operational continuity.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Completion certificate from an accredited Ultrasound program, mandatory
  • Registered Vascular Technologist, Registered Vascular Specialist, or Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RVT / RVS / RpHS), mandatory
  • Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and outstanding patient care abilities.
  • Capacity to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with fibroids mandatory
  • Adept at multitasking, prioritizing effectively, and functioning as part of a team.
